Bentuk comparative, superlative, dan pola khas seperti the more..., the more... atau as...as.
- Pendek: -er / -est (taller, tallest). Panjang: more / most + adjektiva (more important).
- Jangan menggandakan: bukan more taller. Pola the + comparative..., the + comparative... (The harder you work, the more you earn).
- As + adjektiva + as untuk setara; not as...as untuk tidak setara.
- Bandingkan hal yang sejenis: The climate of Bali is milder than THAT of Java.

- Comparative ganda (more better).
- Membandingkan hal yang tidak sejenis.
Identifikasi pola dulu (setara, lebih, paling, atau the...the...) lalu pilih bentuk adjektivanya.
